The CFast 2.0 card looks very similar in size and shape to the Compact Flash card but instead of pins, it uses a blade to connect with the camera. This means no more broken card readers as those pins always tended to bend out of shape!
It has a significantly faster write speed so can capture 4k footage.

And will be the media of choice for Canon’s future high-end cameras.
